Mr. Ibuchwa Kisongo

Ibuchwa Kisongo has worked in higher education for going on 17 years. He is the Director of Public Safety at North Hennepin Community College; the college creates opportunities for students to reach their academic goals and succeed in their chosen professions. Also, Ibuchwa is the coordinator of the Congolese Community of Minnesota. The organization connects newly arrived Congolese families and individuals with programs and services. 

As part of the leadership team, Ibuchwa has worked hard to provide direction and supervision, strategic planning, and program development for college campus safety. 

He lives in Minnesota with his family. When Ibuchwa isn’t working hard at the college or spending time with his family, you’ll find him reading a book or gardening.
